Bicas

I went to Bicas where there are bikes.

I had on shorts and a blue jacket.

I went with Mark and Ani.

I helped fix Ani’s bike.

I helped hold a wheel.

 I will go back to Bicas some other time.

Survey Three

 
Alexis Trevizo SERP 197b, the University of Arizona.

The third service project I chose to look at is Habitat for Humanity.  Habitat for Humanity serves the community by creating affordable housing for people.  They teach people building skills and money management so they can build a part of their own house and figure out how to pay for it.  Building skills are also taught to high school students at Howenstein High School who build the house.  Habitat for Humanity make a big impact on our community.  Students are able to reflect on the service they are doing after each part of the building project is completed.  After the house is built and delivered to the place where it will stay there is a big celebration.
